Mr. Jerry Goss, 69, a resident of Clinton, passed away Saturday August 28, 2010, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, Jackson, MS. Visitation was held Monday, August 30, 2010 from 5:30 P.M. until 7:00 PM and Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M., and services were held at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS., with burial following in the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery, Forest, MS. Officiating was Rev. Gary Mayes.
Mr. Goss was a native of Leake County and had been a resident of Clinton, MS., for the past 18 years, formerly living in Sebastopol, MS., and he was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church, Conehatta, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie & Jewel Goss, one son, Ricky Dale Goss, one daughter, Teresa Ann Goss, and two brothers, Junior Goss and Ray Goss.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Goss of Clinton; daughter, Vickie (Ricky) Sistrunk, of Union and children Trey, Kristen & Tyler; son, Timmy (Tammy) Goss of Meridian and children Caleb & Chris; step-daughter, Stacy (Brent) Feathers of Brandon and children Michele, Samantha, & Brieann; step-son, Bruce (Joy) Gilmore of Brandon and children Matt & Clint; brother, Paul Davis (Angie) Goss of Lexington, KY; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Trey Sistrunk, Tyler Sistrunk, Matt Gilmore, Clint Gilmore, Ricky Sistrunk, and Brent Feathers
Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
