Gloria Jean McGriff

Gloria Jean McGriff, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at her residence in Morton, MS. A Memorial Services will be held at a later day. 

Gloria was born in Rankin County, MS on December 18, 1961, to John Henry Holmes and Wilma Marie Watkins. She was a lifelong Scott County resident. Gloria loved to fish, ride the side by side and cook. 

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Holmes and Wilma Marie Holmes; her son, David Lee McGriff; her brother, James Henry Holmes; and her sister, Geraldine Carpenter. She is survived by her husband, Bobby McGriff of Morton, MS; her daughter, Bobbie Jean McGriff of Morton, MS; and her 13 siblings.
