Mrs. Mary Lassabe Gainey age 47, passed away at UMMC in Jackson, MS on Tuesday September 29th 2020. A visitation will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS on Saturday October 3, 2020 from 10:00AM until 11:00 AM with a funeral Service to follow. Brother John Vaughn will officiate.
Mary had lived in the Crossroads community for the past six years after moving from Saucier, MS. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Pelahatchie. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Lassabe and her stepfather, Clyde Kelly.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Gainey of Pelahatchie, MS; her mother, Hazel Smith of Saucier, MS; her daughter, Meaghin Jordan of Brandon, MS; her son, Stephen Caleb Gainey of Gulfport, MS; three brothers, Robert Lassabe of Gulfport, MS, Ramie Lassabe of Saucier, MS, Talmadge Kelly of Biloxi, MS; her sister, Robbie Lassabe of Saucier, MS; three grandchildren, Braylon Trey Jordan, Riley Marie Jordan, Kai Caleb Gainey and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
