Mr. Kenneth Ray Franklin, age 85, passed away on Sunday May 07, 2017 at his residence in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 10, 2017 from 12:00PM until 1:45PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 10, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS with Bro. Jerry Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery; there will be no graveside services. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Me. Franklin had lived in Forest, MS for the past eight years where he moved from Morton, MS. He attended Steele Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William W. Franklin and Sudie Franklin; his children, Johnny Franklin, and Patricia Franklin; siblings, Cloys Franklin, James Franklin, Mary Sue Franklin, and Tommie Sue Franklin. He is survived by his wife Margie Hynes Franklin of Forest, MS; children, Janell Lyles of Pearl, MS, Judy Shaw, Tarzan Ann Franklin of Florida, Tommy Franklin of Meridian, MS, and Junior Franklin; brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary Bailey of Forest, MS; and a host of other relatives and friends.
