Frank Black

Frank Black, a lifelong resident of Pulaski, MS, passed away at his home on Friday, May 3, 2024, at the age of 68.

Per Frank’s wishes, Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Black Cemetery in Pulaski, MS. Service provided by Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home but all are welcome to the graveside service. 

Frank was born on July 25, 1955, to L. C. Black and Ethel Adell Smith Black of Pulaski, MS.  He spent most of his working career with Roosevelt State Park and retired from Mississippi Wildlife Fisheries & parks.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, L. C. Black and Ethel Adell Smith Black; and his two brothers, Dale Black and Bill Black. 

Survivors include his two children, Brandie Wadsworth (Robert) and Mark Black all of Pulaski, MS; his sister Mary Wall of Forest, MS; his Brother, John Black (Susan) of Forest, MS.  He also leaves behind six grandchildren; Jacob Lawrence, Bailey Black, Hayden Wadsworth, Lincoln Wadsworth, Alana Wadsworth and Averie Wadsworth.
