Frances Blissett Williams

Mrs. Frances Blissett Williams, age 79, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023, at UMMC in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 9:30 AM until 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will take place at 11:00 AM in our Chapel.  Burial will follow at Lodebar Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS. Bro. Bill Poole and Bro. Jeff Jones will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Mrs. Frances was born to Everette and Vera Blissett on February 24, 1944 in Scott County, MS. She was a lifelong resident of the Clarksburg Community in Scott County, MS. Frances loved spending time with her family and friends and she loved painting and gardening.

Frances was preceded in death by her late husbands, Jack “Man” Harpe and Jack Williams; parents, Everette and Vera Blissett; brother Everette Doyle Blissett; three sisters, Blanche Middleton, Lois Boykin and Mary Cole and a son, Jack Harpe.

She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Laseter (Jason) of Morton, MS; son, Taylor Callicott (Susan) of Morton, MS; sister Jo Ann Parker (Melvin) of Leesburg, MS; two brothers, William Blissett of Chattanooga, TN and James Boomer Blissett (Beverly) of Florence, MS; four grandchildren, Eli Mason, Olivia Laseter, Lacey Nichols and Jackson Harpe and two great grandchildren, Bryleigh Harpe and Grayson Medders.

Pallbearers will be Chris Cumberland, Parker Jones, Payton Jones, Shannon Gilbert, Tim Gilbert and Todd Sprayberry.
