Robert Dennis

Mr. Robert Louis Dennis, age 74, passed away on Monday August 21, 2017 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday August 24, 2017 at 2:00PM at Hazel Baptist Church in Lake, MS. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:00PM until 1:50PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Bro. Victor Bugg and Bro. H.C. Bailey will officiate. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Dennis had lived in Lawrence, MS for the past six years where he moved from Lake, MS and was a member of Hazel Baptist Church. He had a great passion for working with heavy equipment, building many roads and bridges throughout his career.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Ora Bell Dennis and one sister, Sybil Dennis. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Dennis of Lawrence, MS; his step-mother, Mildred Dennis of Sebastopol, MS; his children, Michelle Parker (Brad) of Lake, MS, Angie Dennis of Lake, MS, and Randall Dennis of Lake, MS; one brother, Lane Dennis of Sebastopol, MS; one sister, Martha “Mott” Green (Barney) of Sebastopol, MS; one grandchild, Karley Parker; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Candy Bone, James Sullivan, Billy Jenkins, Mark Savell, Don Nelson, Eldon Haralson, Jessie Parker, and Brad Green. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Watkins, Lyndon Kelly, and Marshall Dearman.
