Dairl Harris, born on December 20, 1945, in Pineville, Mississippi, departed this life on September 4, 2025, in Philadelphia, Mississippi. A devoted family man and seasoned farmer, Dairl left an indelible mark on those who were fortunate to know him.
Dairl's journey through life was defined by his strong Christian faith and a passion for the land. He moved from Homewood, MS, to Forest, MS, where he resided for over ten years. Throughout his life, he engaged in farming, a vocation that reflected not only his work ethic but also his deep appreciation for nature. Dairl delighted in fishing, camping, and treasure hunting at garage sales, activities that brought him joy and connected him to the simple pleasures of life.
He is survived by his beloved children: Rebecca "Becky" Bell (Tony) of Tupelo, MS; Renee Bishop (Bobby) of Ludlow, MS; Robert Stewart (Penny) of Carthage, MS; Robin Keel (Robert) of Tupelo, MS; and Audie Stewart of Carthage, MS and his sister, Molly Leonard of Monroe, LA. Dairl was also the proud grandfather of sixteen grandchildren and the cherished great-grandfather of twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Dairl was predeceased by his beloved wife, Brenda Joiner Harris; his parents, Billark and Myrtle Harris; his great-grandchild, Owen Christian; as well as five brothers and three sisters.
The memories of Dairl Harris will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends, who will carry forward his spirit of love and dedication. A visitation to honor his life will take place on September 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM, both at Wolf Funeral Services located at 3054 Hwy 80 West, Morton, MS.
