James Milton Creel, 38, passed away on July 15, 2021, in Byram, MS. The family will receive visitors from 5:30PM until 8:00PM on Sunday, July 18, 2021, and again on Monday, July 19, 2021, from 12:00 noon until 1:50 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held that same day at 2:00PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Ephesus Baptist Cemetery in Forest, MS. Rev. H. C. Bailey, Rev. Walter Patrick, Billy Carpenter and Clarence Creel will be officiating under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
James was born April 1, 1983, to Rose Townsend and Milton Creel. He was a lifelong resident of Scott County. James was Baptist by faith and was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church in Forest. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and cut grass. James loved spending time with his girls and his grandchildren. At the time of his untimely death, he was working for Simmons Wrecker Service.
James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Joline Creel and Eddie Lee and Nelda Faye Townsend; aunt, Gladys Dearing and father-in-law, Darwin Byrd. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Lori Creel; parents, Milton and Rose Creel; daughters, Claire Nicole Creel, Christina Elizabeth Creel, Alyssa Jolene Creel (Adian Bryant) and Missy Floyd (Jeffrey); sister, April Bridges (Joshua); brothers, Christopher Lee Creel and Clarence Edward Creel (Amber); grandchildren, James Braedyn Floyd and Charles Christian Byrd Floyd; 2 nephews, 3 nieces and a number of other relatives.
