Douglas Michael "Mike" Courtney

Douglas Michael “Mike” Courtney, 55, of Richland, MS went to be with his Lord and entered his eternal rest on March 25, 2023. Graveside services will take place at 10:00 AM at Hillsboro Baptist Church on April 1, 2023 under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services
He was born July 13, 1967 to Doug and Marie Courtney.
Mike was the most kind, loving and loyal son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was predeceased in death by his loving mom, Marie. He is survived by his devoted dad, Doug; sisters, Dina (Brian) and Tanya (Dean) and his beloved niece, Ryleigh.
Mike graduated from Forest High School in 1985. Mike graduated from his beloved Mississippi State University with a degree in Poultry Science and a minor in computers. He was a devoted employee of Tyson and McCarty for 25 years.
Mike had an infectious smile, outgoing personality and natural charisma who loved to be surrounded by friends and family. He loved anything that involved his Mississippi State Bulldogs. He loved sports, NASCAR, softball, turkey hunting, deer hunting, bass fishing and doing anything at his daddy’s farm.
Mike was a wonderful man whose impact will be forever felt by his family that loved him dearly. Mike was a selfless and humble man who loved to stay physically active. He truly loved life and all of those around him.
