Skip Copeland, age 25, passed on Saturday July 9, 2022, at his residence in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 13, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Thursday July 14, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 9:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS. Mike King will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Skip was born to Johnney S. Copeland and Vickey Parkman on July 8, 1997, in Rankin County MS. He was a lifelong resident of Rankin County. Skip loved to play the guitar, listen to Rock- n -Roll music, hunt, fish and spend to time with his children. During childhood he loved practicing martial arts.
Skip Is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dan Parkman, and his wife Taylor Copeland. He is survived by his parents Johnney Copeland of Brandon, MS and Vickey Copeland of Lena, MS; two children Kayleigh Copeland of Morton, MS and Halen Copeland of Morton, MS; two sisters, Brittany King (Anthony) of Brandon, MS and Kimberlee Copeland of Lena, MS; two brothers, Colby Frazier of Richland, MS and Johnney Copeland Jr. of McCool, MS; two nephews Bryce and Wade King of Richland, MS.; maternal grandmother, Dot Roberson of Richland, MS; paternal grandfather, Skip Copeland of Jackson, MS; paternal grandmother, Connie Nichols of Sommerville, NC.
Pallbearers will be Chris Cooper, Bobo Easterling, Colby Frazier, Michael Bolyer, Keith Anderson and Tyler Scoggins.
