John D Cooper

May 31, 1930 — July 27, 2020

John “Johnny” David Cooper born to the late Andrew Richard Cooper and Harriet Parker Cooper on May 31, 1930 in Morton, Mississippi, age 90, passed away on July 27, 2020.
He served in the Navy during the Korean war. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. One of his favorite things to do was to work on lawn mowers and chainsaws. He had an awesome sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his dear friend Mamie Ruth Bailey, his sister Lucille Cooper Dabney, his niece Janet Dabney, his great niece Erica Dabney, and Jennifer Dabney.
Survivors include nephews Timothy Dabney (and wife Marti Buscaglia) and David Dabney, and great nephew Casey Dabney. At Johnny’s request, there will be no services. His remains will be buried in the Springfield Cemetery.
