Christopher Tiara Polk

Christopher Tiara Polk was born on November 11, 1992, to Carlione Ann Polk and Henry Darnell Johnson in Hinds County, Jackson, Mississippi. Christopher was known as "Chris" to many people.

Christopher joined Shiloh M.B. Church at an early age. He attended Morton High School and graduated in 2011. He loved to sing, making people laugh and talk for hours. Chris always loved to help people where he could and kept a big smile on his face.

Christopher departed this life on April 28, 2026, in Morton, MS, at the age of 33. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dannie L. Polk, and his maternal great-grandparents, Richard and Eliza Polk, and Ethelean Ragsdale, his paternal grandfather, Henry Johnson, and great-grandparents, Paul and Lula Otto.

Christopher leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Carlione Polk, and father, Henry Johnson. His grandmothers, Ethel McDonald and Thelma Boyd, 2 sisters, Fantasia (Dallen) Polk of Louin, MS, and Twyla (JV) Parker of Lake, MS. His two brothers, DeMarcus and Michael Polk, both of Morton, MS. Chris also leaves behind his daughter Janiya Gale of Louisville, MS, and son Christopher Polk Jr. of Morton, MS. One niece, Stok'Le Polk of Byram, four nephews, Marcus, Jakolb, Cayden, and Rashad, aunties Cindy (Eric) Shay Polk and Louise Polk, uncles Jonathan Thigpen, Joseph Lee and Jerome Thigpen and special friends Alisha Amos, Zaira Amos, Cornelious Amos, Venice McLauren and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm at the Mt. Carmel M.B. Church in Morton. Funeral service will follow, beginning at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Carmel M.B. Church. 

No graveside service.
