Carolyn F. McKay

Carolyn F. McKay, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Merit Health River Region in Vicksburg, MS. Her visitation will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 1:45 PM on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Calvery Assembly of God Church in Morton, MS. Her services will be held at 2:00 PM. Her burial will follow at Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS. Bro. Bill Prestage and Bro. David Bryant will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Carolyn was born to Hosey Stewart and Dorothy Hall on June 25, 1967, in Meridian, MS. She lived most of her life in Pearl, MS. Carolyn was a member of Leesburg Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS. She loved gardening, her flowers, her hummingbirds and her fur baby Rayzer. 

Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Hosey Stewart and her stepmother, Algie Stewart. She is survived by her husband, William McKay of Pearl, MS; her mother, Dorothy Hall of Alabama; her four children, Chasity Terry of Carthage, MS, William McKay of Pearl, MS, Elton McKay of Pearl, MS and Freddie McKay of Pearl, MS; her four sisters, Helen Stewart of Pearl, MS, Teresa Holland of Pelahatchie, MS, Jennifer Farquhar of Biloxi, MS and Joanie Stewart of Brandon, MS; her two brothers, Tony Hall and Jeff Hall both of Alabama and her three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be J. C. Newton, Kenny Crawford, Roy Stewart, Jr., Frank Adcock, Johnny Wayne Hutchinson and Bennie Hutchinson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nic Farquhar and Ryan Farquhar.
