Terry Carney

Terry Carney, 65, a resident of Pelahatchie, MS passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at his residence. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm and funeral services will be Thursday in the chapel at 1:00 pm with burial in the Rehobeth Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Rick Hammerstrom, Rev. Don Carney and Rev. Ronnie Spears. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Carney had lived in the Rehobeth Community for the past eight years, moving from Pearl, MS and Pisgah, MS. He was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church of Pelahatchie, MS. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and work in the outdoors and he loved going to church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Margie Carney; two brothers, Norris and Don Carney.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Carney of Pelahatchie, MS; seven children, Patty Pike and husband Joe of Meridian, MS; Debra Skinner and husband Ron of Valdosta, GA; Renea Carney of Meridian, MS; Aletha White and husband Eddie of Pearl, MS; Dewight Roper and wife Mary Ann of Pelahatchie, MS; Suzanne Pace and husband Gary of Pelahatchie, MS; Rhonda Gilmore and husband Scott of Pelahatchie, MS; one brother, Jerry Carney of Meridian, MS; one sister, Sue Carney of Dallas, TX; twenty three grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Chuck White, Jason Roper, Justin Roper, Chris Bates, Cody Parker, and Brennan Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Huddleston, and Jerry Parker.
