Carlene W. Fortenberry

Carlene W. Fortenberry, age 64, passed away on December 25, 2023, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. 

Carlene was born to John Henry Wilkerson and Claudia Lee Williamson on September 7, 1959, in Forest, MS.  She lived most of her live in Forest, MS.  Carlene was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Lake, MS.  She was a trucker driver for most of her life. 

Carlene was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Claudia Wilkerson and her brother, James Wilkerson.  She is survived by her son, Richard Fortenberry of Forest, MS; her daughter, Rebecca Fortenberry of Forest, MS; her two sisters, Louise Parker of Navarre Beach, FI and Mariann Jacobs of Forest, MS; her brother, John Wilkerson of Magee, MS; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
