Laura Helen Boyd

Laura Helen Boyd, 72, born on February 13, 1949, passed away at St Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital on August 10, 2021. Services will be on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation being from 10:30 AM until 10:50 AM, all taking place at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel.
Laura was born in Forest, Mississippi on February 13, 1949, to the late Mr. Jim and Mrs. Ruthie White, both preceded her in death. Laura grew up and attended school in Morton, MS. where she met her former husband, Jerry M. Boyd, unto this union three children were born.
Laura is survived by her daughters, Marie (Dr. Pervis) Mann, of Birmingham, AL; Latarsha (Tacoma) Manning, of Jackson, MS; one daughter preceded her in death; three brothers, Roderick (Sara) White of Jackson, MS, Jimmy White of Jackson, MS, Derrick White of Jackson, MS; one brother preceded her in death, two sisters, Gracie Allen of Jackson, MS and Linda Hart (Tommie) of Jackson, MS; 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
