Betty Sue Williamson, age 78, a cherished resident of Forest, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, at the MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on February 10, 1947, in Smith County, Mississippi, Betty lived a life filled with love, hard work, and devotion to her family and community.

A proud graduate of Burns High School, Betty dedicated her professional life as a beautician, pouring her heart into her work at Betty's House of Styles. Her passion for beauty extended beyond her career; she was also known for her love of cooking and floral designing. Family gatherings at her home were marked by delicious meals and vibrant decorations, demonstrating her nurturing spirit. Moreover, Betty had an adventurous side, finding joy in fishing and trying her luck at the slot machines.

Betty was a devoted member of Gasque Chapel Methodist Church in Lorena, Mississippi, where she contributed to her community and embraced the support of her church family. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life, and she met challenges with grace and determination.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. Betty is survived by her daughter, Debbie Harvey (Robbi) of Lake, Mississippi; her sister, Ruby Gunn of Forest, Mississippi; her brother, Curtis Harmon of Brandon, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Tyler Williams and Khane Williamson; two great-grandchildren, Jaxson Williams and Astrid Williams; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives who knew her love well.

Betty's legacy lives on through those she loved and inspired. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. C. and Irie Harmon; her brother, Johnnyn Ray Harmon; her two sisters, Elizabeth Strebeck and Mary Faye Thrash; her son, Michael Williamson; and her lifetime companion, Hugh Myers.

Visitation will be held on July 31, 2025, from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, both taking place at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, Mississippi.

Betty's warmth, creativity, and dedication to her family will be farewelled by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for the laughter and love she brought into the lives of others.
