Betty Louise Busby Wall

Betty Louise Busby Wall, age 82, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.  Her visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS.  Her services will take place 1:00 PM in our Funeral Home Chapel.   Her burial will follow at Poplar Baptist Cemetery in Conehatta, MS.  Bro. Tim Fanguy, Bro. Matthew Hitt and Bro. Shannon Davis will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Betty was born to M.J. Busby and Ulma Blackwell on May 21, 1941, in Simpson County, MS.  She was a native of Simpson County.  Betty had lived in Conehatta, MS for the past sixty-four years.  She was a member of Conehatta Baptist Church in Conehatta, MS.   Betty was a devout Christian who loved her Lord.  She loved gardening and music, often playing in Gospel Bands.  Betty served her church for over forty years. 

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Amos Wall; her parents, M.J. and Ulma Blackwell Busby; her three brothers, James Leland, Ronnie and Glenn Davis Busby.  She is survived by her three daughters, Karren Abel of Tupelo, MS, Amy McDill of Sebastopol, MS and Carla Graham (Barry) of Kingsland, GA; her two sons, Joe Wall (Regina) of Madison, MS and Clay Wall (Lori) of Duffee, MS; her two sisters, Charlotte Tomlin of Alexandria, LA and Judy Pearce (Larry) of Magee, MS; her brother, Johnny Busby (Cindy) of Flora, MS; her eleven grandchildren; her nineteen great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

Pallbearers will be Joel Wall, Justin McDill, Jake Wall, Bracy Graham, Dylan Wall and Garrett McDill.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Alexander, Zack Skelton, Bradly Weatherford, along with the nineteen great grandchildren.
