Betty Ann Hill

Betty Ann Hill, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, MS.  Her visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS.  Her services will take place at 3:00 PM in our Funeral Home Chapel.   Her burial will follow at Harperville Cemetery in Forest, MS.  Bro. Paul Lee Sistruck will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Betty was born to Charlie Langdon and Evey Coates on June 25, 1953, in Union, MS.  She had lived in Harperville, MS for the past thirty-five years.  Betty loved her grandbabies, she was always present for her family and believed in family over everything. 

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Hill; her parents, Charlie and Evey Langdon; her first husband, Hooper Fortenberry; her granddaughters, Ashley Fortenberry and Madison Edwards; her six sisters, Dorothy Langdon, Peggy Langdon, Dessy Langdon, Mary Pinter, Martha Reid, and Odessa Sistruck; her two brothers, Earnest Langdon and Clarence Langdon.   She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Edwards of Harperville, MS; her son, Billy Pat Fortenberry (Reba) of Harperville, MS; her sister, Wilma Jean Perkins of Carthage, MS; her two grandchildren, Robert Pat Fortenberry (Destany) and Breana Nicole Williams (Lane); her four great grandchildren, Hunter Martin, Kaleigh Martin, Lanesley Williams and Jaxston Fortenberry. 

Pallbearers will be James Counts, Michael Reid, Jonathan Alford, Jay Alford, TJ Squires and Lane Williams.
