Betty G. Finderson

Betty G. Finderson, a cherished lifelong resident of Morton, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, at the Apple Tree Inn in Forest, Mississippi. Born on June 18, 1962, in Morton, Betty’s life was deeply rooted in the community she loved and served.

Mrs. Finderson was a devoted member of Pleasant Gift M.B. Church in Morton, where her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Those who knew Betty remember her fondness for fishing and her passion for flower gardening, pursuits through which she found peace and joy.

Betty is survived by her beloved husband, Willie Finderson, and her children: daughters Mary McCoy, Betty McCoy, Johnnie Mae McCoy, and son James McCoy. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky McCoy, and her parents, Jr. and Mary Davis.

Family, friends, and all who loved Betty are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on May 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel - Morton, located at 3054 Hwy 80 West, Morton, Mississippi. The funeral service will follow the visitation on the same day, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at the same location.  

There will be no graveside service, and the family will take the flowers to the graveside.

Betty G. Finderson’s legacy is one of devotion, kindness, and an enduring love for life’s simple pleasures. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and community.
