Betty Jo Eastman

Betty Jo Harrison Eastman, age 70, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Bedford Nursing Home in Newton, MS. Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Her service will take place in our Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. Bro. Ken McLemore, will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Betty Jo was born to Jean Harrison on December 6, 1953, in Forest, MS. She was a lifelong resident of Lake, MS. Betty Jo was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake. She won a Spirit of Mississippi Award and The Blind Worker of the Year Award in 1982 through The National Industries For The Blind.

She loved music, animals, visits from friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Betty Jo is survived by her son, Vincent Spinosa-Parker (Samantha) of Lake, MS; her sisters, Sandra Collins (Ronald) of Vicksburg, MS; Shirley Culpepper of Florence, MS; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Kakuske (Mitch) of Janesville, WI; Lucille Spinosa-Parker; Vinny Spinosa-Parker; Joey Spinosa-Parker; and her great grandchild, Isla Kakuske.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Harrison; her husband, William “Bill” Eastman; her son, Michael Chad Parker; and her sister, Barbara Ladner.
