Barbra Denson Davis

Barbra Denson Davis, age 60, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.  Her visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 10:30 AM until 2:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS.  Her services will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion M. B. Church in Ludlow, MS.   Her burial will follow at Pearson Cemetery in Ludlow, MS.  Pastor Jeff Stingley will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services. 

Barbra was born to Alice Lucille Denson on August 21, 1963 in Ludlow, MS.  She was a lifelong resident of Scott County, MS.  Barbra was a member of Mt. Zion M. B. Church in Ludlow, MS.  She was the life of the party and she loved singing in the church choir.  Barbra had been singing since the age of four.  Her grandchildren were her heart.  She was known to hug, kiss and take a picture with everyone. 

Barbra was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Lucille Denson and her sister, Tammy Jackson.  She is survived by her husband, Charles Davis; her three children, Damion Denson, Dedrick Denson and Deundrick Davis (Madison); her step-daughter, Tyree Moore; her two sisters, Hattie McLin of Ludlow, MS and Jovetta Ealy of Ludlow, MS; her four brothers, Samuel Chambers of Milwaukee, WI, Paul Coleman (Debora) of Milwaukee, WI, Eric Denson of Ludlow, MS and Michael Coleman of Morton, MS and four grandchildren.
