Mr. Richard G. Bailey, age 69 passed away Saturday October 6, 2018 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Tuesday October 9, 2018 from 9:15AM until 9:50AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will follow at 10:00AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS. There will be no graveside services. Officiating will be Bro. Billy Henry.
Mr. Bailey lived in Clinton, MS for the past five years, where he moved from Vicksburg and Jackson, MS. He was a member of Clifton Baptist Church in Forest, MS. He retired as a letter carrier with the US. Postal Service in Vicksburg, MS.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Edrie Bailey; his brother, Cecil Bailey, Jr.; and his sister, Louis Harrelson. He is survived by two sisters, Barbara Marler of Madison, MS and Cathy Johnson of Forest,MS; three nephews, Michael Johnson (Shelby), Nathan Johnson (Dana), and Dwayne Bailey (Danyel); niece, Michelle Sessums (Glenn); six great nieces and three great nephews.
