Miss Lyndsey Taylor Aust, 15, a resident of Forest passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at University Medical Center, Jackson, MS. Visitation will be at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 8:30 am until 1:45 pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 31, 2012 in the chapel at 2:00 pm, with burial following in the Harperville Memorial Park, Harperville, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Bruce Robinson and Rev. Andy Boles. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton will be in charge of arrangements.
Lyndsey had been a lifelong resident of Forest, MS, and attended Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Forest, MS. She was presently an 8th Grade Student at Scott Central High School and she was a Jr. High Football cheerleader and she loved participating in the school beauty pageants. She was chosen 6th Grade Most Beautiful and placed as a beauty in the 7th Grade Pageant. She enjoyed 4-wheeler riding, swimming, and texting on the phone.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grand father and paternal great-grandfather.
She is survived by her father, Mike Aust of Forest, MS; mother, Holly Harrell and husband Lamar of Forest, MS; her guardians, Wayne and Marie Cash of Forest, MS; one sister, Chelsea Aust of Forest, MS; one brother, Josh Aust of Forest, MS; one step-brother, Justin Harrell of Pearl, MS; one niece, Kenzie Lackey of Forest, MS; paternal grandmother, Janice Fox and husband Joe of Lena, MS; maternal grandmother, Daphne Rayner of Florence, MS; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Cash, Landon Cash, Mason Aust, Matthew Aust, Mitch Breeland, Toby Harrell, Craig Harrell, and Eddie Aust. Honorary pallbearers will be her 8th Grade Classmates at Scott Central High School and Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Youth.
