Linda Ruth Adcox (Wood)

Linda Ruth Adcox, 86, of Pelahatchie, MS passed away on June 20, 2021, at the Choctaw Residential Center in Philadelphia, MS. She was born on August 29, 1934, to Inez Greenwood and Frank Wood. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services of Morton, MS. The second visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM all at Oak Grove Church of God in Polkville, MS. Bro T.J. Bates will be officiating the service. There will be no graveside services.
Linda was a lifelong Morton, Polkville and Pelahatchie, MS resident. She was Baptist by faith and attended Rehobeth Baptist Church. She loved her grandkids, they were the focus of her life. She loved her flowers and cooking.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Inez Wood; her husband James Earl Adcox; three sisters, Sarah Bishop, Charlene Gray, and Brenda Taylor; grandson Curtis Wood and great-granddaughter Cooper Lynn Mitchell. She is survived by two children James Ray “Squeeky” Adcox (Brandi) of Harperville, MS and Lynn Harrell (Tim) of Pelahatchie, MS; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Cody Adcox, Colton Adcox, Matthew Gray, Tim Harrell, Sean Adcox and Jeff Dennis.
