Billy Ray Adams, age 63, passed away on Monday December 21, 2015 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation was held on Tuesday December 29, 2015 from 1:30PM until 2:45PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Memorial Services were held on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at 3:00PM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS. Officiating was Bro. Jerry Holmes. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
Billy Ray had lived in Forest, MS for the past four years, moving from Louisiana. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Louisiana. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Billy Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Annie Adams; brothers, Roy Adams and Joe Adams. He is survived by his wife, Melody Adams of Forest, MS; two sons, Billy W. Adams (Hester) of Vicksburg, MS, Eric Adams (Brenda) of Pelahatchie, MS; one sister, Helen Luckett of Louisiana; two brothers, Emmett Adams of Louisiana, and Jim Adams of Louisiana; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe, LA or Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson, MS.
