Mrs. Brittye Jean Aycock Rigby, age 85, passed away on Tuesday March 15, 2016 at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 17, 2016 from 5:00PM until 6:50PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 17, 2016 at 7:00PM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS. A graveside service will be held on Friday March 18, 2016 at 10:00AM in the Macedonia New Testament Church Cemetery in Forest, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Carl Rigby. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Rigby was a lifelong resident of Scott County, MS. She was a member of the Macedonia New Testament Church in Forest, MS and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mrs. Rigby was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. “Hot” Rigby in 1996; and her son, Frank Rigby in 2014. She is survived by three sons, Joe Rigby and wife Shelia of Forest, MS, Bill Rigby of Forest, MS, and Tim Rigby of Madison, MS; two sisters, Bernice Harrell of Forest, MS and Sue May and husband Fred of Forkville, MS; one daughter-in-law, Tami Rigby of Canton, MS; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Joey Rigby, Anse Rigby, Dusty Ivy, Tyler Rigby, Logan Parisi, Tommy Moore, and Tom Wallace.
Memorials may be sent to the Macedonia New Testament Church Cemetery Fund; 209 Fairground Rd. Morton, MS 39117.
