Kermit Sanderford

Mr. Kermit E. “Tip” Sanderford, age 80, passed away on December 23, 2015 at Mississippi Care Center in Morton, MS. Visitation was held on Sunday December 27, 2015 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services were held on Monday December 28, 2015 at 1:00PM at Two Mile Baptist Church in Morton, MS. Officiating was Bro. Ray Ingram and Bro. Joe Crane. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
Tip was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS. He was a member of the Two Mile Baptist Church in Morton, MS where he served as a deacon. He enjoyed wood working, making pens and building bird houses. He was an avid hunter and could work on anything.
Tip is preceded in death by his wife, Wanza Porter Sanderford; parents, John Henry and Luna Mae Sanderford. He is survived by one son, Wayne Sanderford and wife Nancy of Coppell, TX; two daughters, Cathy Brown and husband Tom of Brandon, MS, and Marcine Freeman and husband Billy of Morton, MS; one sister, Faye Crosby of Lake, MS; three grandchildren, Chad Ray of Pensacola, FL, Shannon Lee Sanderford of Coppell, TX, and Brooke Everett Sanderford of Coppell, TX.
Pallbearers were Terry Crosby, Terry Harvey, Danny Cooper, Jimmy Gould, Bryant Crosby and Caleb Crosby. Honorary Pallbearers will be Fletcher Wilkerson, Harlan Phillips, Clyde L. Tatum, Bobby Price, Ira Donald, and Toby Porter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Two Mile Baptist Church, 1571 Highway 481 N Morton, MS 39117.
